The Santa Barbara County Democratic Party has been carefully monitoring the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, and the directives from the Center for Disease Control and the California Department of Public Health.

We have made the difficult decision to postpone the 12th Annual Roosevelt-Hamer Dinner. We are working with Congressman Adam Schiff’s staff to find another date later this year. Congressman Schiff’s staff have been generous with their time and we are all look forward to rescheduling.

We urge you to heed the advice from our National, State, and Local public health officials. Do not underestimate the importance of social distancing, frequent hand washing, and staying home during this time. Let’s work together to flatten the curve and keep our community safe and healthy.
