Join us for the 2020 Virtual Labor Day Celebration

Time is flying by. Just a few short weeks ago, we hosted out first (and hopefully last) Virtual Roosevelt-Hamer Dinner, which gave us an opportunity to recognize some of our local progressive leaders, and to hear from the incredible Rep. Adam Schiff! And just last weekend many of you helped us kick-off our 2020 campaign via Zoom.

Now more than ever it is clear that The Labor Movement is Essential. As we head into the 2020 Presidential Election, so much is at stake – especially protections for workers’ rights.

We need to take control of Congress by holding the house and flipping the senate. We need to grow our majority in the statehouse so California can continue to pursue a bold progressive agenda. And we need to send Donald Trump – the worst president of our lifetimes – packing, and elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris!

There is also a very important fight going on right here in our own backyard. That is the fight to ensure our local city councils and school boards pursue a progressive direction; to ensure our leaders stand up for our values, and against fear and hatred.

Join us for our Virtual Labor  Day celebration, 2:00-3:00PM on Monday, September 7th. We will hear from Salud Carbajal, Monique Limón, Dawn Addis, Steven Bennett, our endorsed candidates (over two dozen!), as well as local union representatives.

Your $10.00 donation will help provide the funds we need to run a strong campaign this fall, including slate pieces for democrat and labor endorsed candidates, and running phone banks and texting programs.

And for our Opportunity Drawing we have a Two Night Midweek Stay with BBQ Kit at El Capitan Canyon. Thank you to Robin and Roger Himovitz!

Let’s Celebrate – The Labor Movement is Essential!
